Every day in New Zealand 63 people receive a cancer diagnosis. The Cancer Society believes so much more can be done to reduce this number and to support those affected.

"The purpose of the Davis Carr Cancer Society Endowment Trust (Endowment Trust) is to support Cancer Society’s mission of improving community wellbeing by reducing the incidence and impact of cancer.

The role of the Endowment Trust is to help secure the financial future of the Society through the prudent investment of funds that are held in trust. Capital is retained within the Endowment Trust and investment returns are available for use by the Society to underpin core programmes and services such as supportive care and information, cancer prevention and medical research.”

- Associate Professor Jonathan Koea, Chairman, Cancer Society Auckland Northland

All donors to the Endowment Trust are formally recognised and donations are eligible for New Zealand tax rebates.
